and
did depict scenes that
you would have encountered when travelling on some of the Vietnamese
Highways,
a US Marines Check point,
a Vietnamese bicycle repair shop in a small village,
an Artillery fire support base,
an AATTV & USSF Medcap patrol in a village.
Plenty more photos to come,
please check every night

US fire base in action
On Thursday and Friday the
fire base was under simulated
attack from NVA/VC forces, this did show the public that nowhere
in Vietnam was peaceful and safe. It was also good to show
the firing drill of the 105 crew.

The action packed arena display was
“ Road to Dak To”. Dak To was a remote
US Special Force camp
near the Cambodian
and Laotian border in the central Highland of South
Vietnam and
was at the end of a very perilous truck journey a long
Highway 19 and 14.
A
simulated convoy ambush took place in the arena with
some pretty impressive pyros!
