Like 2006 our fire base came under attack with some
breathtaking pyrotechnic effect. This was extremely well received by the public as they were actually on the fire base with us during the attack. The noise was unbelievable: a quad 50 gun truck, an another gun truck with a 50 and 30 cal, one M60 and half a dozen M16 plus the VC  AK 's firing all at once while incoming simulated mortar rounds are falling just a few yards away from you tend to send your hart beat racing! Luckily enough this was only for show but you can just about imagine what our troops did and go thought when all that stuff is happening for real!
