Ammunition Trailer 1 ½ Ton 2 Wheel
Replaced
the M10 Ammunition Trailer from WW2, originally designed to
be towed behind amour to allow extra ammunition to be
carried into battle, It was found to be unpopular because it
hampered the manoeuvring of the tow vehicle. During the
Vietnam War its was mainly used for the transportation of
Ammunition from and to Artillery Firebases. The M35 or M54
were the main tow vehicles.
